Laura shared her courage story of doing an annual 22 day smartphone detox/cleanse. Laura’s father was killed in 2008 at the age of 54 when he was hit by a distracted driver. Laura talked about how she has worked with Joel Feldman on advocacy work around distracted drivers. Joel’s daughter, Cassie, was also killed by a distracted driver at 21 years old Laura puts down her smartphone except to use as a phone for the 22 days between the date of Cassie’s death and her fathers death. Laura shares her many lessons she has learned over the years from her smartphone detox.
